Two Page Lay-Outs

Hellooooo Fellow Crafters....I know it's been a while since I posted anything, just been busy with other events going on my life, last friday, Feb 25th, I attended the Anaheim Convention Center Scrapbook Expo along with a couple of scrap-queens from my cropping group! We had a blast, and I was consumed with playing with my new toys....I will share with you later what I picked up as I create with them!
So for now, I wanted to share with you some lay-outs I completed recently. I have been so busy making cards that I forgot I initially got started in scrapbooking by creating layouts and putting photos to paper. I cannot beleive it's been since last August '2010 since I did any layout pages....wow, so in order for me to get motivated, I purchased the (2) DVD set from "My Pink Stamper, and this is what I came up with from her video of the month layouts throughout the year! I will share the 12 month layouts as I create them....and I will let you know which ones were my own creation....here we go, this one was from the month of January call "SNOW MUCH FUN", I had fun with this one...using cartridges I already had, and some she suggested,  using Winter Frolic & Winter Woodland...of course I changed up to use my own color scheme to match the photos I wanted to place on the page...whata think?
I did this lay-out shortly after Valentines day....I thought the color scheme was rich with the taupe, black and old gold....I used the designs from "Sweetheart" cartridge, page 1 is for 1 special photo and journaling, and page 2 will support (3) photos and some journaling, I was quite happy with the look....
This lay-out was from the dvd, using "Forever Young & Plantin School Book...I did not have the "Plantin School book, so I substituted with another cart using the alphabet & flowers. It still turned out well.
Well I hope you like the layouts so far, and later on this month, I will be creating the dvd layout for the month of March! I will also be posting more cards, since they are so much quicker in creation (lol)....until next time keep your creative juices flowing!
